Stephen West's Resplendence Shawl is a gorgeous combination of garter stitch ripples and eyelets and requires nine shades of fingering/4ply yarn alongside a complimentary skein of fluffy mohair or similar.

For this yarn pack we've used our lovely non-superwash Highland Peruvian yarn - currel | 4ply paired with a skein of bray | lace, with its fluffy blend of baby suri alpaca and silk. Mix up the pink, red, gold, and violet tones, or fade from pinky red, through warm gold, to lavender and grey, the choice is yours. The contrasting fluffy eyelets will contrast in the palest silver grey.

We've called this pack 'sunset dream', just because...

This yarn pack contains:

1 x 50g skein of bray| lace – a whisper woven through it

9 x 50g skeins of currel | 4ply in the following shades: 

rose-pure clouds
just beyond our reach
it was a flower once
but this golden earth sustains us
cast in bronze
slow burn
between the realms
drying their wings
a whisper woven through it

This yarn is spun from non-superwash fibre – hand wash in cool water, dry flat.

We use professional acid dyes with good light and wash fastness and do our best to exhaust every dye bath and reuse water wherever possible to reduce any further environmental impact. Occasionally a small amount of 'loose' dye may remain in the yarn after rinsing (most likely with deeply saturated shades) and we always recommend hand washing in very cool water and pre-washing your yarn separately if you are intending to mix light and dark shades in a single garment/project.
