Designed to mix and match with any\/all of the above for stripes and marks and shawls and colourful fun! Soft raspberry, a lavender leaning mid-grey, sage green, and a warm toffee gold. Coming up with semi-solids is one of the hardest parts of developing a micro-collection. The pressure to include the perfect hues, a coherent palette, to bring the whole collection to life! Perfect for lightweight garments, shawls and accessories. It takes dye beautifully creating vibrant nuanced shades that glow.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe dye Pightle in small batches using a combination of kettle dyeing for semi-solid and tonal shades and low-immersion and hand-painting for variegated shades that will 'pool' or 'flash' depending on gauge. Even within a dye batch, each skein is unique as a result of our dyeing techniques.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough Pightle is a superwash fibre, we recommend hand washing in cool water to preserve the vibrancy of the dye.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs with all small-batch, hand-dyed yarn that doesn't have dye lots, we also recommend knitting alternate rows from two skeins when working on larger projects to avoid noticeable changes between skeins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe use professional acid dyes with good light and wash fastness and do our best to exhaust every dye bath and to reuse water wherever possible to reduce any further environmental impact.
