We're welcoming the return of the light, celebrating the passing of the longest night, and embracing the slowly lengthening days with a glorious sock set!

While the days may be getting longer, we still need cosy feet and a solstice cast-on is the perfect solution! Your sock set will comprise a full size ~fluid~ variegated skein with 2 x 10g semi-solid micro-skeins for cheeky contrast cuff, heel, and toe.

I'm taking palette inspiration from all the places I seek out light in the deep midwinter; the sunrise as I walk the dog across the meadow, the cosy glow of a roaring wood stove, a full moon and twinkling stars in a midnight sky, sparkling frosted leaves underfoot, late afternoon sunshine through a misted lead light window...

We'll be casting-on our favourite sock pattern (yet to be decided!) on December 21st  and getting cosy with our knitting by the wood stove at every opportunity, sharing our progress on Instagram with the #MeadowyarnSolsticeSocks tag, and with luck we'll be pulling on our solstice socks and our warm winter boots to walk the dog in the new year!

2 x 10g microHoo | sock

Pre-orders are open until Friday 1st December and yarn will be dispatched by Monday December 11th.
